This Christmas magazine advertisement by Ronson was published in Saturday Evening Post in 1950. It depicts:
- two table lighters: Nordic and Trophy,
- four pocket lighters: Essex, Regal Adonis, Capri and Whirlwind,
- Lighter-cigarette case Escort,
- Ronson Electric Shaver.

I was trying to find info on combination lighter & cigarette case made by Ronson. I've looked through many photos & different sites but couldn't find what I needed till I saw the ad you posted above & saw the lighter I have.
I'm hopeful you can give me some information about it. I'm not interested in keeping it as I don't collect them but thought it might be of some value to a collector. The model I have is the women's case that is shown in the lower left corner called the Escort. Mine is exactly identical to the model shown.
I read over your description of the grading standards & would say mine is in very good condition. There's minimal signs of wear & is clean, untarnished or corroded. I have no way of knowing what it may be worth or even when it was made. Is there anyway I could find out without resorting to buying a book on lighters as I'm not interested in them (although I admit to many being exceptionally beautiful or interesting).
Any help or suggestions really would be appreciated. I'm sort of at a dead-end in finding out more. I could send some high quality photos if need be.
